Trader Owl is about having fun. At one point the "fun" got out of hand, resulting in spending thousands of dollars to buy $ETH and $BTC during the 2021 bull-market. To prevent this from happening again, it was decided to only rant about crypto trades on Twitter and to create 10,000 degen Trader Owls, so we can all rant together as a large anon community. Most of all, each owl is packed with unique traits and utility that brings value to its holder.

History

Originally, Trader Owl entered the world of Twitter as early as April 2021. For those of you who are interested, there are still some Twitter rants and threads to enjoy. Back then NFTs were not booming and no one really knew what they were really about. Trader Owl was just an average degen who traded crypto in search of the next 100x shitcoin that will make him rich.

At that point in time, one of the co-founders Dingleberry destroyed a stuffed owl toy which inspired Trader Owl’s current visual representation.

The project started to materialise with the help of our designer who added a few uniquely drawn 2D NFT traits and that is how the idea started coming to life.

Originally our team generated a small unique collection of Trader Owl NFTs and listed them on OpenSea with the hopes of someone noticing them. However, utility was not on the roadmap as there was no roadmap, there was no Discord and no one bought into Trader Owl. Since then, our team brought many new elements and functionalities to Trader Owl.

After that, we initiated an official launch with our beta website and free-to-play NFT game with very few marketing incentives planned out on the 25th of April 2022. Trader Owl managed to sell 2 owls while 50 were set aside for members and friends. Still no roadmap.

Now, we have embedded utility and a long-term plan to grow the project as our team received revisited the Trader Owl idea. Our roadmap is updated in many ways and it has the potential to bring Trader Owl as one of the biggest NFTs out there. Join us anon frens and be part of the GameFi revolution.
